Sunday Chimes

Nursery Care. There is nursery care for infants to two-year-olds during this Sunday’s 10:00 a.m. service. Starting July 9th we will have nursery and Funday School. Volunteers are needed, so please look for the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the old kitchen.

Refreshments in the Garden. We continue with our summer schedule on Sunday and will be serving refreshments in the garden at 11:15 a.m. Please consider signing up to host a Sunday. Lemonade will be provided or you can serve your own punch recipe. There is a sign-up sheet on the old kitchen bulletin board.

“No matter where you’re from, we’re glad you’re our neighbor.” Perhaps one of these signs greeted you as you came into church this morning. This summer, Trinity is honoring the great commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves(Mark 12:29-31), with these signs in different languages. If you’d like a sign for your own lawn, they are available in the church office for a donation of any amount (our cost is $10.00). Donations over the cost of the signs will go to Trinity’s Outreach Commission.

Summer worship: During the months of July and August, we will take a tour of the many and varied options for celebrating the Eucharist offered in our Book of Common Prayer and additional authorized liturgy of the Episcopal Church. We'll begin on July 2 and 9 by celebrating both the 7:45 and 10 am Eucharists according to Rite I. Watch for different prayers and responses throughout the summer as we experience the whole scope of Episcopal worship.

The Interfaith Hospitality Network is a partnership of congregations within a community who help provide families facing homelessness. Area churches provide a place where families can spend the night and can be provided with breakfast and dinner.  During the day the families can go to a day center where they receive help with social services, job counseling, a meal and so much more. IHN has an impressive eighty percent success rate of these families finding permanent housing/homes. The Outreach Commission is asking for your donations to help support this wonderful organization who are there for the dads, moms and children who want a hand up, not a hand out. Please use the Outreach envelope to help local families in need. Thank-you.
