Nursery Care. There will be nursery care this Sunday for infants to two-year olds during the 9:00 a.m. service. Volunteers are needed to help in the nursery. Sign up on the bulletin board in the Old Kitchen.
 
Jesse Tree Workshop. Please join us this Sunday at the Jesse Tree workshop in the Parish Hall during the Christian Education Hour at 10:15am. The Good Shepherd’s Club will not be held, but all families and children of all ages are invited to the Parish Hall to make Jesse Tree ornaments for the parish Christmas tree.
 
Advent Study —Because of Bethlehem: Love is Born Hope is Here” by Max Lucado.  Starting this Sunday at 10:15am in the conference room. This four week Advent Study, hosted by Deacon Leslie, will include a short video played each week with discussion, Bible exploration and a study guide. Cost of study guide is $10. Please see Deacon Leslie or come to the office if you would like to participate. 
 
The annual Advent Wreath Workshop and covered dish dinner will be tonight at 5:00pm in the Parish Hall. Wreath forms, candles and some greens will be provided. Please bring extra greens (evergreen and holly) and any other decorations that you would like to use to create your wreath. This event is open to everyone - bring a friend along too - but don't forget to let us know how many people to plan for. A sign-up sheet is available on the bulletin board in the old kitchen for the dinner and the wreaths.  There will be a donation basket available. We are asking for $7 per wreath to cover the cost.
 
THANK YOU — we delivered over 100 bags of food and 30 turkeys to the Christian Caring Center. They will be providing meals for close to 200 families this Thanksgiving. Special thanks go to Dixie DePietropolo, Gerry Lord and John Mazzacano who helped me deliver everything. Also, thank you to Rocco, Johnny, Jesse, Justin, Zach, Patrick, Geri and Tammy & Matthew Solitro who helped load 60 bags of food into my car on Sunday. God is Good!!! - Deacon Leslie
 
THANK YOU to the Good Shepherd’s Club who put together close to 30 “Ditty Bags” that we delivered to the Seaman’s Institute in Philadelphia this week.
A blood drive is being held on Saturday, December 9th in the Parish Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The need is constant. The gratification is instant. Please give blood. Men’s Club Breakfast: Join us next Saturday, December 2nd at 7:30am. The Trinity Men’s Club has been invited to be guests for breakfast at the Evergreens Episcopal Community Facility. Pick up a flyer in the tower entrance for more details.Advent Lessons & Carols: Sunday, December 3rd at 4:00 p.m. ~ Sung by the Trinity and Canterbury Choirs with guest organist Andrew Senn. Reception will follow at 5:00pm.
 
We are closing our books for the Consecration Sunday campaign this week. We're excited about the hope and energy being generated by the generosity of everyone who has participated so far, and the great testimony of faith our congregation is showing in giving commitments for 2018. If you have not yet handed in your estimate of giving card, please send it to the church office this week. If you need a card, pick one up in the tower entrance today, call Geri Trost at 856/235-0811, or email her at gtrost@trinitymoorestown.org. We will publish the final results next week. 
 
Journey to Bethlehem begins next Sunday, December 3rd after the 9:00am service. All the children in grades 2nd to 5th please meet downstairs in the Godly Playroom to begin the journey. This program will last for three weeks.
 
Attention Junior and Senior Youth Group: Our annual 'Twas The Night fund-raiser will be held on Friday, December 8th from 6-9 pm. It will be a night full of crafts, games, and movies. If you are interested in helping to entertain the young members of our church, please sign up on the youth bulletin board and arrive in the Parish Hall at 5:30 pm.
 
Youth Sunday---December 10, 2017. All the youth who signed up to participate must rehearse their readings on either Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 4-6pm or Thursday, Dec. 7 also from 4-6pm. Please come to the sacristy and meet Deacon Leslie. If you didn’t sign up to read

Parents of children ages 2-10 - “'Twas the Night” is a parents’ night out on December 8th, with games and crafts for children at Trinity while you shop or celebrate. The cost is $5/per child. Pick up a flyer in the tower entrance. Sign up your children on the Old Kitchen bulletin board off the Parish Hall.
 
Adopt a family or child for Christmas. We have 13 families that include 36 children. If you would like to adopt, please contact Deacon Leslie at lmazzacano@trinitymoorestown.org or by phone at 856-235-0811.
 
Lost & Found: A prayer book/hymnal, a set of keys, a ring, and a necklace (found in the church parking lot) have been added to our lost and found in the past few weeks. If you lost these or any other items in or around the church please call the church office at 856/235-0811.
 
Join Jewish, Christian, and Muslim neighbors from local faith communities for an afternoon of reflection on shared themes in the scriptures of each faith. Trinity is co-sponsoring this event on Sunday December 3, 2-4 pm Islamic Center of South Jersey, 612 Garfield Avenue, Palmyra, NJ 08065
 
Trinity Church Outreach Commission is hosting a Give 20 Fund-raiser at the Iron Hill Brewery on Wednesday, December 13th. Doors open at 11:30am, plan to come for lunch or dinner. Pick up coupons in the tower entrance.
 
Christmas Caroling Party & Supper: If you enjoy singing or listening to Christmas Carols, plan to attend the Trinity Caroling Party on Sunday, Dec. 17. All are welcome! We will gather in the parish hall at 5:00pm and sing together for 30-45 minutes, accompanied on the piano by Lisa Yeh. Then, we will share in a covered-dish supper. Please sign up in the Parish Hall, by calling the church office, or on the Trinity website by December 15. If your last name starts with A-M, we ask that you please bring a main dish and if your last name starts with N-Z, please bring a side dish/salad. Dessert, drinks, and kids meals will be provided. Hope to see you there!
 
The Annual Holston Christmas Open House will be held Sunday, December 17th from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Hosted by Bob and Pearl Holston, please come out and see the art decorations, Christmas trees, dollhouses, model trains, ships, and aircraft! Bring friends and children. All are welcome! Project Interaction is collecting for "Bare Essential" bags to be distributed to the homeless in Camden at Christmas. We need 150 full size men's deodorant and 50 women's full size deodorant. If everyone in our parish would bring just one deodorant to donate we could fill this need. Please help the Outreach Committee in their efforts. Place the donations in the box on the stage in the Parish Hall by Sunday, December 17th. “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:17
 
Scholarship for High School Seniors. Applications for the 2018 VanDuzer Scholarship are now being accepted. Moorestown Community Band: You are invited to attend Sounds of the Season presented by the Moorestown Community Band, conducted by L. Bruce Smith. This free concert will be held on Friday, December 8, at 7:30 pm in the William Allen Middle School, North Stanwick Road, Moorestown. The band will play a varied program of popular and classical music that will feature some soloists and songs that will get you into the spirit of the very special holiday season including Christmas Time is Here and Silent Night.
